Equinox is the term used to describe the occurrence when the duration of the day and night are exactly the same length, which happens twice a year. During this time, the light and dark hold equal shares in the sky, which is beautiful because one cannot be cherished without the comparison and contrast of the other. Loving the dark would hold no significance without the appreciation and acceptance of light.
